Store Policy

Payments:

ProperGoodsCo.com accepts PayPal and most major debit/credit card companies (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express). We currently do not accept international debit/credit cards (with the exception of Canada).

All orders are subject to a security check prior to shipment. When submitting an order, the payment will run an address verification check with your financial institution to confirm the billing and shipping information provided. When placing your order, please make sure that you use the billing address and contact information as it appears on your credit statement. It is recommended that your order be shipped to the billing address for quicker processing. If shipping to an alternate address, delays may occur as additional verification with the customer may be needed to confirm the authorized transaction. Please be advised that our security checks are intended to ensure the safety of your financial information and to prevent unauthorized use of your PayPal and debit/ credit cards. Any orders that do not pass the AVS/security check will be cancelled and payment will be refunded.

If your credit card is declined, a message will appear on the page with the reason why it was declined. If it is declined as a result of an AVS mismatch, please verify that the billing address information you are entering on the website is an exact match to the billing address information on file with your credit card issuing bank. If your card is declined as a result of the card code mismatch, please ensure that you are correctly entering the 3 or 4 digit code that appears on the front or back of your card (varies by card type). If your transaction is otherwise declined, please ensure that you have sufficient funds available in your account to complete the transaction, or contact your bank to inquire about any holds that may have been placed on your card.

Declined transactions may appear on your billing statement as pending transactions. Within 3-5 business days, your bank will remove these pending transactions from your account. These funds are not being held by ProperGoodsCo.com, and may have their pending status removed only by your bank.

Important Tax Information:

Sales tax is only applicable to orders shipping to the state of California.

Store Credit:

Store credit is applied to your ProperGoodsCo account. To use a store credit, sign in to your ProperGoodsCo account, add an item to your shopping bag, and during checkout the store credit will be automatically deducted from your total.

Gift Certificates:

Gift certificates are available for purchase in predetermined dollar amounts. Gift certificates are mailed electronically to the recipient after the purchase has been made. Please be sure to carefully input and double-check all information of the recipient. For all gift certificate purchases, please allow up to 24hrs for processing.

Please note: All gift certificate purchases are subject to a security check and requires additional verification with the purchaser. This is to prevent fraudulent transactions and to confirm all information is accurate prior to sending the e- gift certificate.
